PROVIDENCE AREAS:
Take Route 195
to Route 95 South following 95 South to Route 4 (which turns into Route
1). Pass
Route 138 exit on the right (to Jamestown and Newport) and immediately
after you pass this exit the entrance to the SSTAR of RI facility will
be on your left.
** The entrance to
SSTAR from the highway has now been blocked off by orange barrels. You
will need to continue driving for approximately 1 1/2 miles until there
is an opening that will allow you to make a U-Turn to head back in the
opposite direction. (As a landmark, look for a horse farm on the
right-hand side shortly before the opening to turn.) Continue until you
see a SSTAR sign at the entrance.
FROM AQUIDNECK ISLAND:
Take Route 138 over the two
bridges, follow signs to New York and Route 1. Immediately after
entering Route 1, the entrance to the SSTAR of RI facility will be on
your left.
** The entrance to
SSTAR from the highway has now been blocked off by orange barrels. You
will need to continue driving for approximately 1 1/2 miles until there
is an opening that will allow you to make a U-Turn to head back in the

FROM NORTHERN
RHODE ISLAND:
Take Route 295 South to Route 95

left.

SOUTH COUNTY & VICINITY:
Follow Route 1 North towards
