Our Batterer's Intervention Program is a 40-week program, which provides
educational groups for batterers and resource information to partners
and victims as part of a coordinated community response.
Initial intake is made by appointment,
at 508-324-3597; Client, if male, is then referred to one of the six
groups listed below.
Monday: 2:00pm-4:00pm;
5:30pm-7:30pm; 7:30pm-9:30pm
Saturday: 9:00am-11:00am;
11:00am-1:00pm; 2:00pm-4:00pm
We also offer a Portuguese-speaking group
that is held on Tuesday evenings, from 7:00pm-9:00pm, and a Women's
group that is held on Tuesday evenings from 5:00pm-7:00pm.

Participation in this program is by way
of a court-ordered mandate to attend for violating a restraining order
or assaulting a partner; a referral from the
Department of
Social Services or a therapist, or self-referral.
Fees:
SSTAR uses a sliding fee scale that takes into account the
participants ability to pay. No one is denied services based on an
inability to pay.
