• Provides primary health care to Health Center patients.
• Participates in the on-call system.
• Participates in inpatient detox rounds as required.  Participates in health professional (medical studies, residents, nurse/students, etc.) mentoring.
• Available to front office and nursing staff re:  telephone triage, patient inquires, etc.
• Assists in the efficient operation of speciality clinics as needed.
• Attends CME and in-service training sessions as approved by the Medical Director.
• Meets with the Medical Director periodically to review Health Center policy and report on Health Center operations.
• Participates in off-campus clinics as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree with current Massachusetts license.
• Maintain privileges at local hospitals.
• Board eligible in internal medicine required.  Board certified preferred.
• Previous experience in ambulatory care clinic preferred.

Experience managing patients with HIV and STD required, Infectious Diseases sub-specialty training preferred.

Two years of continuous sobriety is required for individuals in recovery.

Full-time (32-40 hours) Family Nurse Practitioner of Physician Assistant to provide primary health care.

Qualifications:  Ability to engage our clients, be a team player, strong knowledge of Addiction and Mental Health, ability to be flexible, on call availability, valid drivers license and reliable transportation, ability to work independently and seek appropriate supervision when necessary, knowledge of 12 step and other community resources, strong clear boundaries, consummate professional, Medical Case Management a plus.  Bachelor's or CAC preferred.

2 positions available - One full time (32 hours per week) includes evenings and every other weekend and one part-time 8:00am - 4:00pm every other weekend.  CAC preferred.

Inpatient Counselor needed for 32 hours per week on the Dual Diagnosis Services Unit.  CAC, CADC, CCDP, or B.A. in Psychology/Social Work with experience in co-occurring disorders preferred.  Applicant must be well versed in the 12 core functions of chemical dependency counseling.  Must be flexible, willing to work evenings and weekends.  Must possess strong 1:1 counseling, group facilitation and documentation skills.  Computer proficiency is a must.

RN preferred but will consider LPN.  Hours are 7pm to 7am or 11pm to 7am.  Nurse is responsible for care of a designated number of clients on the Detox and/or Dual Diagnosis Unit.  This involves implementation of protocols and specific medical orders, assuring safety of the clients, and reporting to the charge nurse, nurse practitioner and physician as indicated.  Nurses on the overnight shift receive an additional 8 hours pay per week if their base hours are 32 or greater.

Full -time, flexible hours, possible weekends.

Knowledge of recovery, good documentation skills and ability to engage with clients.  Good communication skills.

Bilingual: Spanish/Portuguese desirable.

Interviews, counsels and coordinates individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing knowledge based on research findings and techniques in chemical dependency rehabilitation. Supervises individual cases, develops treatment plans, provides consultation and follows through with case management.

Qualifications:  Bachelor's with CAC.  LCSW with a CADC or LCDP certification or license required.  LICSW or LMHC preferred.  Two years experience in the field of substance abuse to include at least one year of full-time direct experience in a drug treatment program.

Registered Nurse to work on an as needed basis all shifts, including weekends.  Must have good communication skills and be able to work as a team member.

You will perform various patient care activities and will receive training on understanding mental health and substance abuse disorders.  You will be working in a short term mental health stabilization and detoxification unit as a part of a multidiscinary team.  Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to get along well with a diverse client population.  Must have a stable work history.
