- Provides primary health care to Health Center patients.
- Participates in the on-call system.
- Participates in inpatient detox rounds as required. Participates in health professional (medical studies, residents, nurse/students, etc.) mentoring.
- Available to front office and nursing staff re: telephone triage, patient inquires, etc.
- Assists in the efficient operation of speciality clinics as needed.
- Attends CME and in-service training sessions as approved by the Medical Director.
- Meets with the Medical Director periodically to review Health Center policy and report on Health Center operations.
- Participates in off-campus clinics as assigned.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree with current Massachusetts license.
- Maintain privileges at local hospitals.
- Board eligible in internal medicine required. Board certified preferred.
- Previous experience in ambulatory care clinic preferred.
Experience managing patients with HIV and STD required, Infectious Diseases sub-specialty training preferred.
Two years of continuous sobriety is required for individuals in recovery.

RN preferred but will consider LPN. Hours are 7pm to 7am or 11pm to 7am. Nurse is responsible for care of a designated number of clients on the Detox and/or Dual Diagnosis Unit. Nurses on the overnight shift receive an additional 8 hours pay per week if their base hours are 32 or greater.
