Weekday charge nurse Dual Diagnosis Unit at SSTAR Fall River. Psych and addictions background. This is a primarily clinical position with key administrative functions. Play a leadership role on the treatment team. Requires someone who is detail oriented, has strong administrative skills, May include some staff training, staff performance assessment, and program development.

Innovative Fall River MA agency recruiting an experienced prescriber to provide clinical services on inpatient dual diagnosis unit.

Full or part time.

New Community Support services for Inpatient Detox program at SSTAR in Fall River. Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle, demonstrated effectiveness in motivating clients, strong organizational skills, ability to function independently.

Detox/Step Down Unit. Per Diem with possibility of regular part or full-time. Some experience, demonstrated effectiveness in working with addicted populations. CADAC/LCDP desired.

Responsibilities include:

Providing management & counseling to patients infected or suspected of having a sexually transmitted infection (STI) including HIV & Hepatitis. Works as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications:

• RN with current MA license, BSN preferred.
• 4 years nursing experience, at least 3 years experience in community nursing, ambulatory or crisis care areas preferred.
• Experience with STD/HIV patient care preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish/Portuguese desirable.

1. Provide individual, group, and family treatment. Provide 100 hours of direct service per month.
2. Maintain case records in electronic health record format in compliance with agency standards.
3. Participate in biweekly staff meetings.
4. Participate in weekly peer supervision and biweekly individual supervision.
5. Perform case management functions as necessary for specific clients.
6. Communicate with referring agencies and others on behalf of the client.
7. Respond to crisis situations as needed
8. Share on-call phone coverage on rotating basis every 6-8 weeks.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in social work or counseling.
• Massachusetts license in appropriate discipline – licensed eligible might be considered.
• Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese desirable.
• Specialty in working with children or adolescents desirable
• Direct care positions require two years of continuous sobriety for individuals in recovery.

• Provides primary health care to Health Center patients.
• Participates in the on-call system.
• Participates in inpatient detox rounds as required. Participates in health professional (medical studies, residents, nurse/students, etc) mentoring.
• Available to front office and nursing staff re: telephone triage, patient inquires, etc.
• Assists in the efficient operation of specialty clinics as needed.
• Attends CME and in-service training sessions as approved by the Medical Director.
• Meets with the Medical Director periodically to review Health Center policy and report on Health Center operation.
• Participates in off-campus clinics as assigned.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree with current Massachusetts license.
• Maintain privileges at local hospitals.
• Board eligible in internal medicine required; Board certified preferred.
• Previous experience in ambulatory care clinic preferred.
• Experience managing patients with HIV and STD required; Infectious Diseases sub-specialty training preferred.

Two years of continuous sobriety is required for individuals in recovery.

Full-time (32-40 hrs) Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary health care. Friendly working environment with at the door parking.

Intermittent Part Time position available for a Security Guard in Fall River. Duties include making rounds, securing buildings, answering phones, doing intakes and signing in clients and visitors.

32 hour a week position in a licensed daycare within a residential treatment facility for women and their children. Responsibilities will include: assisting with meals, snacks, diapering, cleaning, and naptime. As well as supervising children’s safety. This position required that the applicant must be at least 18 years old, have or currently working towards a high school diploma or its equivalent and also have experience working with children. BCI and CANTS clearance are required.

Awake overnight - full time position in a residential treatment facility for women and their children. Required to oversee the safety and well being of women and children and client self-administration of medications. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: entering weekly services, tracking medication refills, filing and quality control of charts.

Organizational and independent working skills are necessary. Knowledge of and/or experience in addiction and early recovery related issues are very helpful.

BCI and CANTS clearance are required.
