Over the years we’ve produced a number of videos addressing topics such as substance use, HIV/AIDS, and Domestic Violence. Some are PSAs while other are more general information about our agency. Because we have built strong relationships with partner agencies around the globe, some of the videos have been translated into Russian and German.

interventionsARISE – Family Interventions

is an approach to engaging reluctant drug and alcohol dependent individuals into treatment using an “invitational” model of intervention. This playlist includes a :30 sec spot overview and an interview with an Interventionist.

SSTAR has been a leader in helping to improve drug treatment quality throughout the world. As part of Treatnet, SSTAR has contributed to the development of a series of promising practice manuals.

Recently, SSTAR and the Health and Development Foundation in Moscow, Russia have partnered on creating a strategic manual for public health campaigns implemented over mobile devices (“mHealth”). These videos are versions of several of our English ones translated into Russian and German.

Women’s Center at SSTAR

Since 1977, the Women’s Center program has been meeting the special needs of survivors of domestic violence and their children. This collection of videos highlights some important facts about domestic violence. They were created for domestic violence awareness month in October 2012.
