Domestic Violence Awareness Month – Clothesline Project

The Women’s Center and other members of the Greater Fall River Domestic Violence Coalition commemorated Domestic Violence Awareness month at City Hall.  This event included the reading of Fall River’s Proclamation Against Domestic Violence, the raising of the DV Awareness flag and the viewing of the Clothesline Project.  The Clothesline Project is a visual display dedicated to raising awareness about the prevalence of domestic violence in society.  It is composed of t-shirts made by local survivors of domestic violence and allies of these survivors.  The project will be on display through October at City Hall in Fall River.
