Tom Hubert and Dawn Givens are the Employees of the Month!
Tom Hubert has been in maintenance here at SSTAR for over 5 years!
Tom works hard for SSTAR always making himself available night and day when facilities issues arise. He is polite, respectful, thoughtful and passionate in his work. He makes the time for little things. He always figures out how to get things done. He always attacks every project with a positive attitude and works extremely well with staff and vendors. He brings things forward to ensure that we can address them before they effect patient care whenever possible. Tom is a leader among the maintenance staff and always shows initiative. He is warm and caring and pays attention to what the programs request.

Dawn Givens has been with SSTAR for 27 years and is a Senior Case Manager for Project Aware!
Dawn gives her heart and soul to the program in every way. She is attentive to her client’s needs and goes above and beyond doing whatever is necessary to assist. She is always professional and respectful, always honest in her approach. Her colleagues note that she is a leader in her group and that SSTAR couldn’t ask for a better employee. When Project Aware lost a beloved supervisor Dawn stepped up and helped and when Michael also left the team Dawn was there to help keep things stable. She is supportive to everyone around her and always there to listen and to give sound advice.
