Monserrate Martinez and Nicole Gibney are the April Employees of the Month!
Mazi has been with SSTAR for 27 years!
Mazi has been an unspoken leader of the RS staff on the inpatient units for years here at SSTAR. She is the very definition of a team player always willing to contribute any way that she can to patient care and keeping the unit moving. She checks in constantly with nursing staff to make sure that things are going as they should. Mazi always tries to frame things positively and her demeanor is pleasant and calm even in the most challenging moments. She never sits down and goes above and beyond for the ATS clients.
This is why Mazi is the perfect choice for Employee of the Month!
Nicole has been with SSTAR for almost two years!
Nicole is the manager of Project Aware. Nicole works tirelessly to make certain that the team can reach as many clients as possible. She is open-minded and always looking to learn, improve processes, and support the program staff. She is always front and center for her team modeling by doing. Nicole mentors and supports while taking care of clients and community. She is a strong manager always being on top of budgets and expenditures to make sure that the grant is maximized for client benefit. She goes above and beyond for clients at every turn. She will work the mobile van and the mobile market while also being available to her staff and program. Nicole impacts client care at every level!
