Martin Jewell and Chris Sousa are the August Employees of the Month!
Martin has been with SSTAR for over 36 years!
Martin is a Recovery Support Navigator in the CSP program at SSTAR. Martin is always willing to assist client with accomplishing their treatment goals and providing unwavering support and resources! SSTAR clients know and respect Martin for his own continued recovery and the amount of time and devotion he puts in to helping clients find their own recovery. Martin recently took a client for a medical procedure in Attleboro on a Saturday morning. He supported the client through a difficult time. He is dependable, reliable and most of all he is a prime example of what SSTAR offers to clients, treatment and support that provides hope.

Chris has been with SSTAR for over 11 years!
Chris has worked in the Food Service Department at inpatient providing consistent, warm, caring client service every day. Since day one of employment at SSTAR Chris has been responsible and accountable displaying natural leadership qualities and a positive attitude. You can always find Chris in all areas of the food service department helping and assisting staff and assisting staff members in other departments within the building. His main focus is always customer service for clients. He takes care of special diets, special requests, menu development and feedback, housekeeping chores within the department and maintaining equipment. Chris’s kindness and integrity play a major role in SSTAR’s overall mission and in caring for the clients every day.
