Liz has been with SSTAR for 3 years!
Liz does an outstanding job as a Community Health Worker here at SSTAR. She is compassionate and caring with every person she works with treating everyone with dignity and respect. Liz helps assist in securing food and other necessities and services, coordinating care for their complex needs. She is always available to help and is a trusted and caring co-worker. She is hardworking and reliable making positive impacts in the lives of all her patients. She is always creative in her approach to understanding what each patient needs and assisting them in finding those things either at SSTAR or in the community.

Peter Freitas has been with SSTAR for over 7 years!
Peter is an evening security guard at the Stanley Street Campus. Peter is hard working and reliable, always attentive to the needs of staff and clients. Peter is conscious of all security needs and checks in with those who remain in the building making certain that areas are secured, and that staff is safe. He has a positive attitude that he brings to every interaction. He goes far beyond normal duties even assisting with employee car problems as they try to leave for the day. He is professional and calm which is an essential element of his ability to deescalate situations when needed. He is warm and engaging and pays attention to details that help clients and staff feel safe.
