March Employees of the Month

We are excited to announce that: Thomas Fillion and Kerrin Walsh are March Employees of the Month!

Thomas Fillion has been with SSTAR for almost 2 years.

Thomas is the Lead Recovery Specialist for our Inpatient Acute Treatment Services. He is a living, breathing testament of the care provided at SSTAR.  Through role modeling trauma informed care, by going above and beyond for the patients, and allowing them to feel safe on the unit by providing consistent support, dependability and understanding of “meeting the patient where they are at”.  He is invested in personal growth and was recently promoted to Lead Recovery Specialist for our Acute Treatment Services.

Kerrin Walsh has been with SSTAR for about 1 year!

Kerrin is a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant for our Health Center, who consistently delivers patient-centered care aligned with SSTAR’s mission. Despite staffing challenges and a high patient volume, she effectively supports multiple providers while maintaining a high standard of care and treating all patients with dignity and respect. Kerrin’s strong work ethic, teamwork, and willingness to go above and beyond contribute positively to both patient wellbeing and a supportive, efficient work environment.
