May Employees of the Month
We are happy to announce that:
Grace Sweetser and Victoria Estes are the May Employees of the Month!
Grace has been with SSTAR for almost a year!
Grace is a Family Nurse Practitioner in the Health Center. She constantly and consistently goes above and beyond for her patients. Her patients receive care grounded in respect, dignity and compassion. She meets each individual where they are in life, delivering truly patient-centered care that is both empathetic and clinically sound. As a provider, Grace maintains exemplary professional boundaries while demonstrating genuine warmth and humanity. She approaches every patient as a unique individual, not merely as a case from a textbook. Her presence has brought comfort and even laughter to patients and their families, hoping to create a welcoming and supportive environment within the clinic. She is always willing to see a patient whenever possible if they walk in and absolutely need to be seen. She is open to learning and has thrown herself into pediatrics to fill the need for a child provider.
Grace has been a great addition to the care team at the health center!
Victoria has been with SSTAR for 28 years!
Victoria is a counselor on ATS. She always puts her clients first in everything that she does. She helps them to achieve all that they need while working on their recovery. Vickie is extremely helpful and always willing to lend a hand on the unit even when she is busy. She goes out of her way to find answers even when she doesn’t know it if it will add to the patient’s experience on the unit. She is well liked and respected by her peers and is a hardworking and caring team member!
