October Employees of the Month

Bea Dean and Kiara Zea are the October Employees of the Month!
Bea has been with SSTAR for 24 years!
Bea has held a number of positions here at SSTAR. She is currently serving patients in the role of referral coordinator. No matter what role Bea has had at SSTAR she has always placed patients first. She is tenacious in finding timely appointments and advocating for care. Bea’s hard work and incredible sense of humor make her an amazing care giver and teammate. Bea is always willing to jump in and help at any task that will keep things moving. Her warm smile is infectious and no matter how difficult the work she always keeps perspective and delivers great customer service. We have been so lucky to have had Bea for all of these years and hope that as she enters retirement in the new year that she takes some much-deserved time for herself!

Kiara Zea has been with SSTAR for over 7 years!
Kiara was recently promoted to the Health Access Supervisor. Kiara is always patient centered. Her knowledge of the service delivery system is an amazing help for all or the patients who she serves. She always seeks to find a solution for any patient care issues that come her way. Her hard work, energy, and dedication are noted by all of those who work with her. Kiara is always willing to step up and recently supported the services through a transition that left the department very understaffed. She always advocates and serves with warmth and caring. Kiara seeks further training and education at every level to continue to move forward in her journey to be patient centered. SSTAR is very lucky to have Kiara!
